Boyacá cycling team progress and competition status

Overview

Following the unveiling of its Sub-23 squad for the Vuelta de la Juventud in late July, the Boyacá regional cycling federation expanded its focus to the senior level with the announcement of the Team Boyacá roster for the Vuelta a Colombia. Anderson Castro was forced to withdraw from the race after crashing at kilometer 100, resulting in a fractured clavicle. In response to the injury, team directors have adjusted their strategy to protect the remaining leaders for subsequent stages.
