Brabus expands into superyachts & hypercars
Overview
In early July 2026 Brabus announced a partnership with AB Yachts to create a Brabus‑branded line of super‑yachts, unveiling the first model at the Monaco Yacht Show. The vessel, now identified as the AB 95, features a 28.5‑metre carbon‑steel hull, a 6,000 hp powerplant and a top speed of over 50 knots, with four cabins for ten guests across three decks.
Later that month Brabus deepened its marine venture by teaming with Sunreef to produce the Brabus Ultima 55, a 55‑foot catamaran. The launch, publicised on 28 July, highlighted the catamaran’s twin six‑cylinder engines (each 533 kW/725 hp) delivering a combined 1,450 hp and enabling speeds above 40 knots. It incorporates an extensive carbon‑fiber exterior, an advanced hydro‑foil system that reduces drag and provides a virtually heel‑free ride, and a configurable layout accommodating up to six guests. The model is priced at roughly USD 3.7 million (≈ €3.2 million).
The Ultima 55’s interior options include Brabus Masterpiece and Moonstone leathers, Alcantara upholstery and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, while its fold‑down side platforms expand the beam to create a beach‑club‑style aft deck with an electric BBQ, wet bar and convertible carbon‑fibre dining table. Production took place at Sunreef’s UAE facility in Ras Khaimah, underscoring Brabus’s commitment to high‑performance maritime luxury.
The same period saw the launch of the Bodo hypercar, a limited‑edition Gran Turismo based on an Aston Martin Vanquish chassis, equipped with a 1,000‑hp V12 and priced from €1.2 million. Half of the planned 77 units have already been sold, underscoring strong market interest in Brabus’s high‑performance ventures beyond its traditional tuning business.
