A few days later, on 7 August, both courts inaugurated new judicial facilities. The Minas Gerais Court opened the Forum Doutor Joaquim de Assis Martins Costa in Governador Valadares, consolidating all local judicial services under one roof to improve accessibility and working conditions. In Brasília, the Federal District Court launched an integrated space that brings together restorative justice, women’s‑violence support, mediation, and conflict‑resolution units, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Maria da Penha Law. Together, the appointments and infrastructure projects illustrate a coordinated effort to modernize Brazil’s judicial system and enhance service delivery.
