Brazil youth political participation

In late July 2026, Brazilian youth began a series of outreach events aimed at strengthening their role in public decision‑making. Federal deputy Jesualdo Pires visited Porto Velho in Rondônia, listening to community demands, condemning high toll fees and calling for concrete federal solutions. The sequence shows a broadening of engagement from youth‑led proposal presentations to direct interactions with legislators across multiple Brazilian regions, emphasizing inclusion, policy responsiveness and continued advocacy for youth and community interests.
