Brazilian university outreach programs

In July 2026 Brazilian universities began expanding community‑focused initiatives. Early in the month, researchers at Centro Paula Souza produced a neuro‑compatible pedagogical book for children with ADHD, while the Federal University of Paraíba set up a reading corner and literary workshops for fourth‑grade students. The Federal University of Bahia also contributed a dissertation on managing long‑term museum exhibitions.

Later that month, the Institute of Psychology at the Federal University of Uberlândia launched a 60‑hour extension project to run workshops for children and families in its toy library. Simultaneously, the University of São Paulo’s Ribeirão Preto campus hosted a week‑long immersion for high‑school students, offering labs and lectures on health topics such as parasitic diseases, CPR, and anatomy. Together, the snapshots show a progression from creating educational resources and museum management guidance to delivering hands‑on outreach workshops and health education for younger audiences.
