As part of its 2026 BRICS Chairship, India hosted the BRICS Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Track in Pune from August 17 to August 21. During the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers' meeting held at the event, India and Brazil signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen ICT cooperation. The agreement focuses on fostering digital innovation, advancing digital public infrastructure, and enhancing capacity building to create a secure and inclusive digital ecosystem between the two countries.
