Following the conclusion of the voting period, an awards ceremony was held in Sofia to honor various local leaders. Dimitar Nikolov, the Mayor of Burgas, secured three awards in the ‘Investment and Growth’, ‘Smart City’, and ‘Health and Demographic Policy’ categories. Additionally, Ivan Gaykov, the Mayor of Primorsko, received a special award from the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria for his contributions to the construction profession and the municipality’s infrastructure development and industry partnerships.
