Burglary of YouTuber couple in Nagercoil

Overview

Thieves targeted the residence of popular YouTuber couple Madhumitha and Vinoth Kumar in the VIP Garden area of Thammattukonam, near Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. The burglary occurred while the family was away on a trip.

Intruders reportedly gained entry by using a cutting machine to slice through a rear door frame. Once inside, they forced open a bedroom bureau and a secret locker. The stolen items included gold jewelry, diamonds, and cash, with total values estimated between approximately Rs 1 crore and INR 10 million.

Authorities are investigating whether the couple’s social media activity, which frequently showcased luxury items, cash, and gold, may have alerted criminals to the valuables in the home. Police have deployed forensic teams and fingerprint experts to the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage and mobile tower data to identify the suspects.
