BYRDLI creator-led travel commerce campaigns
Overview
The Australian travel technology company BYRDLI has launched creator-led travel commerce campaigns in partnership with various U.S. tourism entities to facilitate direct bookings through creator-managed ‘Travel Clubs’.
In early September, BYRDLI partnered with the Alabama Tourism Department and Travel South USA for the ‘THIS IS ALABAMA’ initiative. The campaign utilizes photographers Ashley Dobson and Terry McLauchlin to showcase the state’s landscapes, history, and food to Australian and U.S. audiences, respectively, making their documented itineraries and hotels bookable via the BYRDLI platform.
Following this, BYRDLI collaborated with Visit Mississippi and Travel South USA to launch ‘Mississippi Found’. This campaign features creator Nicole Zelkowitz, whose journey through the Mississippi Delta and Gulf Coast is converted into a bookable storefront. BYRDLI CEO Vanessa Richards noted that this model allows creators to own their travel products, including booking and fulfillment, within a single ecosystem.
