Following these labor-specific measures, the Region and major unions (CGIL, CISL, and UIL) signed a protocol of understanding to establish a new structured welfare model. This agreement aims to integrate union expertise into the programming and monitoring of regional social policies. The partnership seeks to better identify the needs of vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and families in economic hardship, to ensure social services are closely aligned with community requirements.
