These prospects span energy, critical minerals, digital technology, forestry, and logistics. Specific large-scale projects under consideration include a $3.5 billion hydropower dam (Grand Ewong) and a $2 billion airport development in Douala. In the mining sector, companies including Tronox and Lion Rock Minerals are advancing a $500 million rutile and rare-earth project in the Centre region. While these figures represent significant interest from American private groups, they do not constitute committed capital.

Additionally, cooperation with South Korea has seen progress through a July 2024 agreement worth approximately $39.35 million (23.21 billion FCFA) provided by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). This aid supports five development projects focused on energy, infrastructure, skills development, and governance.
