Overview

While the ammunition arrests led to continued detention, the firearm was not linked to any suspect at the time. Together, these operations illustrate an ongoing regional effort to disrupt illegal arms and drug trafficking, with Jamaican authorities expanding the scale of ammunition seizures following earlier firearm interdictions.
