Castilla y León public investment program
Overview
In early July 2026 the regional government of Castilla y León allocated funds to upgrade road signage and to restart construction on the Segovia highway, signalling a push to improve transport infrastructure.
A month later, the Junta broadened its investment agenda, launching a series of free digital‑competence assessments and certification through the TuCertiCyL scheme, co‑financed by EU FEDER funds. At the same time, it earmarked €3.8 million for school‑infrastructure upgrades in León province, including bathroom renovations, window and roof replacements, climate‑control installations and other safety and accessibility improvements. The two snapshots together illustrate an ongoing regional effort to modernise both transport and education facilities.
