Casting changes for The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call

Overview

Rumors initially circulated that former Lovelyz member Jeong Yein would replace Ha Young in the upcoming seasons of the Netflix drama ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’. The vacancy for the role of Cheon Jang Mi arose after Ha Young departed following controversy regarding her family’s alleged pro-Japanese ties.

At the time of the rumors, Jeong Yein’s agency, Sublime, stated there were no confirmed discussions, and Netflix noted that casting discussions were still ongoing.

However, Netflix later officially confirmed that Jeong Yein will join the cast for the second and third seasons, taking over the role after auditions were held to find a successor.
