The administration of Cerveteri has faced scrutiny regarding its management of public services and local welfare. Initially, the Cerenova and Campo di Mare zone committee criticized the municipality for an inadequate response to intense heatwaves, specifically noting a lack of support for elderly residents. While some senior centers were eventually granted limited opening hours, the committee expressed frustration over the restricted access compared to typical public facilities.

Subsequently, the municipality has moved to address internal and social service issues. A state of agitation by local police regarding the safety and comfort of their headquarters was temporarily suspended following mediation at the Prefecture in Rome, with inspections planned to evaluate potential office relocations. Additionally, the Social Services Office has expanded its staff by hiring an educator and a psychologist through ministerial funds to strengthen support for vulnerable populations, including the elderly and victims of gender-based violence.
