Charity initiatives in Mexico
Overview
Various charitable campaigns have been launched across several Mexican states to support vulnerable populations during the winter and holiday seasons.
In Querétaro, the Municipal DIF System initiated the ‘Cobijando Corazones’ campaign to collect blankets for families in cold communities. Meanwhile, in Tamaulipas, the association Voluntad Contra el Cáncer Reynosa-Río Bravo began collecting toys and sweets to support children with cancer and their siblings.
Further efforts expanded in Los Mochis, where the Perla Ramos Foundation established 50 collection centers to gather at least 500 toys for children. In Durango, the La Posadita 2026 campaign was launched by Cáritas del Guadiana, C.A.S.A., and local collaborators, aiming to provide toys and sweets to 1,300 children.
