The same day, a separate traffic stop on Ruta 5 Sur near Chimbarongo uncovered a smaller marijuana cache and a large cash sum. On 26 July, Carabineros again stopped a driver on Ruta 5 near Chimbarongo, this time finding 111 g of marijuana together with more than 10 million Chilean pesos.
