Chilean School Achievement Bonus distribution

Overview

Chile has commenced the distribution of the 2026 ‘Bono Logro Escolar’ (School Achievement Bonus), an annual benefit intended to encourage academic performance and educational continuity among vulnerable students. The program targets students from 5th grade through 12th grade who belong to the most vulnerable 30% of the population and rank within the top 30% of their class.

Payments are deposited via CuentaRUT accounts through BancoEstado. The bonus amounts are tiered based on academic standing: students in the top 15% of their class receive a higher amount, while those in the second 15% receive a lower tier.

In the Biobío Region, more than 26,000 students have begun receiving the benefit. Nationally, the program reaches over 277,000 students with a total social investment exceeding 18 billion pesos.
