Chilean social and health infrastructure developments

Overview

Regional authorities in Chile have initiated efforts to improve social welfare and public health infrastructure. In the Valparaíso Region, officials launched a supervision plan for the Supervised Housing Condominium (CVT) program to address maintenance issues, such as rainwater leaks and electrical concerns, at the ‘Paraíso Quillota’ complex. The program, which spans several locations including San Antonio and La Ligua, has a 2026 budget exceeding 350 million pesos.

In the Maule Region, new housing units for the elderly were delivered in Talca through a partnership between the Regional Presidential Delegation and the National Service for the Elderly (Senama), with four additional projects currently under development in areas such as San Clemente and San Javier.
