Amidst these developments, Nvidia has denied reports suggesting it plans to ship a language processing unit (LPU) specifically tailored for the Chinese market to comply with U.S. rules. The company stated it has no such China-specific LPU on its current roadmap. Despite these restrictions, Nvidia continues to navigate a complex market where CEO Jensen Huang previously noted the company had ‘largely conceded’ the Chinese AI chip market to local rival Huawei Technologies.
