Choral and musical ensemble celebrations in Poland

Overview

Various choral and singing ensembles in Poland have held performances to mark significant milestones and achievements.

In the Wierzchlas commune, the Mierzyc Singing and Ritual Ensemble celebrated its 15th anniversary with a jubilee at the Municipal Cultural and Sports Center. Led by Piotr Sitarski, the group operates through the local Rural Housewives' Club and focuses on social integration through folk music.

In other regions, the Rapsodia Choir from Chełm held a concert at St. Casimir's Church to express gratitude following their success at the Cançó Mediterrània international competition in Spain, where they secured first place in the sacred music category. Additionally, the 38th Review of Choirs of Southern Greater Poland took place in Pleszew, coinciding with the 130th anniversary of the Lutnia Singing Circle named after Józef Szpunta. The event featured seven regional ensembles, including the Echo Male Choir from Ostrowo Wielkopolskie, and concluded with a joint performance.
