Chrissy Amphlett legacy and unreleased recordings

Overview

The legacy of late Divinyls frontwoman Chrissy Amphlett is being highlighted through new media releases. An ABC documentary titled ‘Wild’ explores her career, her impact as a feminist icon, and the personal struggles she faced during her time in rock music.

In conjunction with this profile, three previously unreleased songs recorded in 1998 with Tim Finn are scheduled for release on an EP titled ‘Some Times’. The tracks, including ‘He’s In Love’, ‘Crash’, and ‘Sometimes’, were rediscovered by Finn in 2023. The recordings are noted for showcasing a more intimate vocal style compared to her high-energy performances with Divinyls.
