CIVICA Center opening in Tuzla
Overview
The CIVICA Center for Democracy and Social Innovation has officially opened in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Designed as a hub for civil society organizations, activists, and citizens, the four-story facility provides meeting rooms, multimedia rooms, and coworking spaces to support democratic development and social connectivity in the Tuzla Canton.
The center was established through a partnership involving the Tuzla Community Foundation, the City of Tuzla, and the German-based Freudenberg Foundation. Funding was supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via the ‘Strengthening Democratic Culture and the Civil Sector in TK’ project, alongside contributions from the City of Tuzla and the ‘Returning to the Community’ campaign.
