Climate activism in Indonesia

Overview

Greenpeace Indonesia activists have engaged in demonstrations in Jakarta to protest the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration. Authorities and TNI personnel removed the protest banners, and several activists were taken for medical evaluation after one individual appeared weak during the descent. The detainees were expected to undergo further questioning at the Mapolda Metro Jaya headquarters.
