A day later, the Comptroller General reported fiscal irregularities amounting to roughly 825 million dollars linked to the National Infrastructure Agency’s Bogotá‑Villavicencio corridor contracts, including the unfinished Chirajara viaduct. An accompanying analysis highlighted a sharp decline in Colombia’s national patrimony during President Gustavo Petro’s term, underscoring broader concerns about fiscal management and accountability.
