CPI(M) organizational restructuring and controversies in KRL

Following significant electoral defeats in the 2024 Lok Sabha, local body, and 2026 Assembly elections, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has moved forward with major organizational restructuring in Kerala. The party also faces political friction following controversial remarks by former MLA P. Nandakumar regarding Malappuram, prompting leaders to distance the party from the comments to uphold secularism.
