In Colombia, incidents included the fatal shooting of a Venezuelan national in Chiquinquirá and a mining accident in Socha that resulted in one death and one injury. Members of the Guardia Nacional Bolivariana (GNB) responded with gunfire, causing Galbán Beleño to sustain serious injuries. He was transferred to the Hospital Universitario de Maracaibo for emergency surgery. Authorities are investigating the motive, with reports suggesting the suspect may be linked to the criminal group led by ‘El Adriancito.’
