Cuenca provincial subsidy programs

Overview

The Diputación de Cuenca has implemented various subsidy programs in September 2026 to support regional development and local revitalization.

In early September, the council approved a 40,000 euro program to assist self-employed workers in the resin sector. This initiative, which increased funding from previous years, aims to promote green entrepreneurship and combat rural depopulation by supporting the sustainable use of forest resources.

Following this, the Provincial Council released a provisional resolution for 100,000 euros in subsidies dedicated to the 2026 Cuenca Provincial Circuits. This program supports 58 proposals across multiple municipalities, covering diverse athletic disciplines such as road racing, mountain running, and traditional games to encourage community participation and healthy lifestyles.
