Czech Tour professional cycling race

Overview

The Czech Tour, upgraded to a UCI ProSeries event, is scheduled for 13–16 August. The four‑stage race will cover roughly 650 km with almost 10,000 m of climbing, starting in Prague and moving through Karlovy Vary, Mladá Boleslav‑Ještěd, Pardubice‑Dlouhé Stráně, and finishing with a stage from Kroměříž to Pustevny.

Organiser Leopold König confirmed participation from top WorldTour squads such as Red Bull‑BORA‑hansgrohe, Soudal Quick‑Step, Netcompany INEOS, and NSN Cycling Team, alongside other professional teams including Caja Rural and Equipo Kern Pharma. Notable riders include Czech climber Jan Hirt, Spanish Grand Tour veteran Mike Landa, Tour de France stage winner Tim Merlier, and Anthony Turgis.

The 2026 edition is set to begin at Vítězné náměstí in Prague and is expected to feature over 120 riders from 18 teams. Billed as the most demanding in the race’s history, the event aims to raise its international profile within the UCI ProSeries, the second-highest global cycling category.
