Dak Lak festival misconduct investigation

Overview

Following the 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee ordered investigations into various forms of misconduct. Authorities are addressing complaints regarding excessive parking fees, where vehicles were reportedly charged between 30,000 and 100,000 VND without receipts.

Provincial police have also been directed to investigate reports of pickpocketing and property theft in crowded areas. Additionally, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was instructed to review the management of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) following reports of offensive remarks made by a KOL during the event.
