Dak Lak provincial infrastructure and development projects

Overview

The Dak Lak provincial government and local authorities have initiated several large-scale development projects focused on transportation and border stability.

In early October 2026, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee approved a 1,025 billion VND investment for a 2.37km road project. This project aims to connect the North-South Expressway to the old National Highway 1, featuring a new 80.22m reinforced concrete bridge and upgraded urban infrastructure. Construction is slated to begin in 2028.

Later in the month, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command proposed a population stabilization project for the Ia Rve commune border area. Spanning two phases from 2026 to 2035, the initiative seeks to enhance national defense through infrastructure upgrades, including schools, medical stations, and housing support for approximately 100 households. This project is funded by the State budget through the Ministry of National Defense.
