Danish domestic education and youth funding
Overview
The Danish government has announced new budgetary investments focused on domestic education and youth support. The initiative aims to address social inequality by providing opportunities for the approximately 45,000 young people aged 15 to 24 who are currently neither in education nor employed.
Additionally, 150 million DKK has been earmarked for the upskilling of childcare staff. This funding is intended to allow pedagogical assistants and untrained staff in nurseries and kindergartens to obtain formal qualifications, with the goal of improving the quality of care through more highly trained personnel.
