Danish regional and tourism development funding

Overview

The Danish government has initiated several funding allocations to support regional and sector-specific development.

In the tourism sector, 43 million DKK from the tourism reserve has been designated for the strategic development of coastal and nature tourism. In rural development, the Ministry of Cities, Rural Areas and Transport has distributed millions of kroner from the National Rural Pool. In Region Syddanmark, 4.8 million kroner were granted to 13 projects to strengthen community ties and educational formats. In Region Midtjylland, 5.5 million kroner were awarded to 14 projects intended to improve living conditions in rural areas and on small islands, supporting local shops, town squares, and community initiatives.
