Overview

David Tennant is scheduled to return as the Tenth Doctor in a new series of twelve full-cast audio adventures produced by Big Finish Productions. The series, set for release in 2027, will feature Anjli Mohindra reprising her role as Rani Chandra from ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’.

The initial trilogy, consisting of the stories ‘The Hidden’, ‘Empress of the Universe’, and ‘In Effects’, will be released bimonthly between August and December 2027. These adventures will follow the Doctor and Rani as they investigate creature sightings and participate in intergalactic expeditions.

In addition to the audio project, Tennant has indicated he is “open to anything that’s suggested” regarding potential future involvement with the Doctor Who television franchise.
