The 26-year-old athlete, originally from Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, became the first Mexican and Latin American to hold an official strongman deadlift world record.

Flores’ performance, part of the Giants Live circuit, follows a period of rapid progression. In 2025, he recorded an official lift of 453.5 kilograms, and prior to this championship, he had achieved an unofficial training lift of 504.04 kilograms. The successful 511-kilogram attempt was validated by judges using standard equipment, including a lifting suit, belt, and straps.
