Cheikh Saad Bouh Ould Cheikh Mouhamed Takhiyoullah, the ninth Caliph of the Khadre community, has died at the age of 96. He passed away at the Hôpital Principal in Dakar, Senegal.

Known to followers as ‘Yaguene’, he had served as the General Caliph of the Khadrya since 2022, following the death of Cheikh Aya Aïdara. He was recognized for his efforts to unify the Khadre spiritual family across regions such as Dakar, Nimzatt, Louga, and Thiès.

Family spokesperson Cheikh Atkhana Aïdara announced that the deceased will be buried in Nimzatt, Mauritania. Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye expressed deep sorrow regarding the loss, which is described as a significant event for the Khadrya community and the wider Islamic Ummah.
