The company launched a new daily direct flight service using a Boeing 767 freighter, connecting Shanghai to Bangkok, Bahrain, and Brussels. This route provides up to 50 tons of daily capacity and is intended to serve as a gateway to the Indochina region, specifically supporting trade flows between China and nations such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
Furthering this expansion, DHL Express invested 177 million euros to triple the processing capacity at its strategic logistics center at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, reaching approximately 900 tons per day. According to CEO John Pearson, these developments aim to provide reliable networks for sectors including semiconductors, life sciences, healthcare, and renewable energy.
