Digital visa service expansions in Dubai

Overview

The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai has officially launched an electronic visa (e-Visa) service for foreign residents of Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Following a two-week beta-testing period, the digital system allows eligible applicants from 37 countries and territories to apply online for 9(a) temporary visitor status without personal appearances.

This e-Visa service will operate alongside the traditional sticker visa system. Travelers requiring different visa categories or longer stays must still use the consulate’s Online Pre-Assessment System for conventional applications.
