Jordan issued a renewed condemnation, with Spokesperson Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali stating these actions constitute a breach of international and humanitarian law and emphasizing that Israel holds no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem. The Jordanian Ministry called on the international community to compel Israel to cease irresponsible practices against holy sites.

Further international backlash followed, with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) asserting that Israel possesses no legal or moral sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories or holy sites.
