Disappearance of BUAP student in Puebla

Overview

Authorities in Puebla, Mexico, are conducting search operations for Hugo Alejandro Hernández Tello, a 25-year-old administration student at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). The student has been missing since September 5, after last being seen in the Ignacio Zaragoza neighborhood.

Initial search efforts focused on the Alseseca River area after a backpack believed to belong to the student was discovered.
