Overview

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been undergoing an extensive exterior refurbishment since May 2026. The project involves structural work and scaffolding around the 199-foot Hollywood Tower Hotel to refresh its facade, including the pink paintwork, balconies, and decorative details.

While the maintenance work is ongoing, the attraction has remained operational. As scaffolding is removed from the upper sections of the building, a refreshed paint job has begun to emerge.

In addition to the renovations, Disney confirmed the attraction will participate in the 2026 holiday season through the Sunset Seasons Greetings event, featuring nighttime projections. The separately ticketed Jollywood Nights event is also scheduled to run from November 7, 2026, through January 5, 2027.
