Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2 announcement

Overview

Compile Heart and Idea Factory International, alongside developer Sting, have announced the upcoming release of ‘Dokapon Kingdom: Connect 2’. The game is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release in summer 2027 on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and the successor to the Nintendo Switch.

The title serves as the official successor to the 2023 game ‘Dokapon Kingdom: Connect’. It maintains the series’ signature gameplay, which blends role-playing elements with competitive board game mechanics. Players can compete by defeating monsters, saving villages, or using aggressive tactics such as robbing opponents and shops.

New features for this installment include an extensive character customization system and ‘Great Co-op Battles’ against massive Giga Monsters, requiring players to choose between cooperation or monopolizing rewards. The game will support solo play as well as local or online multiplayer for up to four players and will include multiple language supports.
