Dominion Society nationalist conference in Hamilton

The group advocates for ‘remigration,’ a policy involving mass deportations and a 10-year immigration moratorium. The event was set to feature Austrian speaker Martin Sellner, who has faced previous travel restrictions in the United Kingdom and the United States due to extremist narratives.

While the Canadian Anti-Hate Network identified the Dominion Society as part of a white-nationalist movement, the Canadian government maintained that all travelers must meet standard admissibility requirements. B’nai Brith Canada had formally urged officials to deny Sellner entry, citing his history of extremist rhetoric and past affiliations.

Ultimately, Sellner was unable to enter Canada for the Hamilton conference after failing to receive an electronic travel authorization in time.
