ECR Party European Congress on Family

The European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Party organized the third European Congress on Family in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Themed ‘Putting an End to Europe’s Demographic Winter’, the event gathered conservative and sovereignist representatives from more than 20 European nations and the United States to discuss demographic renewal, migration policy, and support for marriage and children.

During the congress, participants such as MEP Stephen Nikola Bartulica emphasized the need for right-wing coalitions and criticized current European Union leadership. Political figures including Nikola Grmoja and Igor Štimac also called for unified, sovereignist actions to address demographic decline and ensure family stability.

Parallel to the political congress, regional events in Serbia also focused on family and child-centric themes. These included the ninth Children's Festival at Oplenac, which promoted family time through traditional crafts and science, and the ‘Family Days’ manifestation in Perlez, which highlighted the need for institutional support in education, healthcare, and employment to help young people raise families within their communities.
