Edgardo Henriquez injury and recovery
Overview
Reliever Edgardo Henriquez was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Los Angeles Dodgers due to lower back discomfort, which effectively ended his regular season.
As the postseason approached, Henriquez progressed to facing hitters in live batting practice. Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes stated that Henriquez is ‘trending really well’ and is expected to be included on the National League Division Series roster if his recovery continues without setback. Manager Dave Roberts noted that his return could have a ‘huge impact’ on the team.
