Egypt-Palestine diplomatic and humanitarian coordination

Palestinian and Egyptian officials have engaged in high-level discussions focused on territorial unity and humanitarian stability. Initial talks between Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh emphasized the necessity of preserving the connection between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, while condemning Israeli settlement expansion and settler violence.

These discussions also addressed the implementation of a US-led peace plan aimed at ensuring humanitarian aid flows into Gaza and enabling the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to operate.

Subsequent diplomatic efforts have expanded to include bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with the Egyptian Ambassador to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and economic challenges caused by the withholding of clearance funds. Additionally, Palestinian and Jordanian labor ministers met to explore cooperation in employment and vocational training, including the use of digital platforms to connect job seekers with the private sector.
