Data from the British electric vehicle market indicates that Tesla’s dominance is facing challenges in the used car sector. While Tesla models remain popular for new car sales, rival manufacturers are seeing higher increases in average resale listing prices.
Between January and June 2026, the Skoda Enyaq led growth with a 10 per cent increase in average listing prices, followed by the Hyundai Ioniq 5 at 9 per cent and the BMW iX3 at 7 per cent. During the same period, Tesla’s Model Y saw a 4 per cent rise, while the Model 3 increased by only 1 per cent.
