Heavy rains left more than 60,000 properties without power, coinciding with an outage of Enel’s digital services, such as its website and mobile application. Enel attributed the digital failure to an operational problem with infrastructure provider Amazon Web Services (AWS), though reports noted that AWS services appeared to remain operational elsewhere. During this period, Enel prioritized telephone support for emergencies and vital clients.
