The recall covers 15 product references distributed across the European Union, including brands such as My Lubie, Einhorn, Adloran, R&S Consumer Goods, Amor, Primeros, You Me, ON, and Releaf.

Investigations revealed manufacturing irregularities involving fluctuations in the thickness and quality of the latex film. Laboratory tests conducted by the DGCCRF confirmed that these defects caused products to fail pressure, burst volume, and perforation tests. These failures create a risk of the condoms bursting or perforating during use, which may lead to unintended pregnancy or the transmission of sexually transmitted infections.

Reports indicate that at least eight users have experienced product breakages, with some instances linked to unintended pregnancies. Following these findings, the French government has suspended the importation and sale of all ultra-thin condoms manufactured using this specific defective process for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Authorities recommend that individuals who have used the affected products undergo testing for sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy tests if menstruation is delayed. Consumers are advised to verify their product boxes and batch numbers against official recall lists.
