Falcón state road infrastructure rehabilitation

In Falcón state, Venezuela, regional authorities have initiated and expanded road rehabilitation projects to support agricultural, economic, and tourism activities.

Initial efforts focused on the sierra region, where Governor Víctor Clark inaugurated 21 kilometers of rehabilitated agricultural roads. This project connects the municipalities of Petit, Bolívar, and Federación, facilitating the transport of goods for over 600 producers who generate significant monthly outputs of milk and cheese.

Following these developments, the scope of the paving plan has expanded to include the eastern coast axis and national highways. Authorities reported the application of over 25,000 tons of asphalt this year, including 15 kilometers of the Morón-Coro national highway. Ongoing works also target the Píritu–Jacura–San Francisco section, the Coro–Churuguara route, and the Maicillal–Cerro Togogo sector. These infrastructure improvements involve not only asphalt application but also brush clearing, signaling, and the installation of road reflectors.
